Hi, My Darkies and Lighties! (lol that's my nickname for you guys!) Enjoy yet another episode of my series! Sorry it's late, I've been busy...
At the Dark n' Light Diner, all were welcome. Jacob and Emma sat side by side, waiting for Kori and her boyfriend to arrive. As she walked in on his arm, staring dreamily into his eyes, Emma gasped. Her eyes widened, instantly recognizing the girl and boy walking in. Kori was... that girl...who she asked for directions to James... her Choosing day. But her eyes filled with tears at the sight of James and his girlfriend.
"Anything wrong, my Princess?"
She wiped her eyes and giggled.
"Not at all, my Prince Charming."
She said, playfully slapping his arm and held his hand, remembering how they used to play as kids. He was her dashing Knight in Shining Armour, rescuing her, the beautiful Princess. He laughed, and oh, what a beautiful laugh it was, full of true joy. She couldn't help but laugh along with him as James walked up with Kori, eyes burning with jealousy.
"Hey, JJ!"
"KoKo!"
The old friends embraced. James and Emma stood, awkward, shifting uncomfortably. The hidden boy sat next to his girlfriend and James and Kori sat as well.
Emma scowled. She decided, in her anger, to kiss Jacob's cheek. James gasped as Jacob held her close, his heartache and anger plain on his face, turned to see the terrified waiter. A Dark man, who was shaking with fear.
"W-What would y-you like to o-order?"
Taking a deep breath, he turned to Kori. She was dazzling, in that silk purple dress. She thought he looked pretty good in that tuxedo.
"What do you say we order, beautiful?"
"Whatever you want, handsome..."
She tickled his nose and turned to the waiter.
"Umm... I'll take... Star-Crossed Sandwiches?"
She turned to James, and he smiled and nodded. They were so alike. In another world, we could be twins, he thought, then shook his head, angry at the thought. What am I saying? She's my girlfriend!
Emma was really upset about the entire situation. She hated her every single bit. The worst part was: They look so good together. But it wasn't right. No, she couldn't bear seeing someone else have what was supposed to be hers.
