The Dark and the Light: Season 1 Episode 1

The wind howls. The oceans torment and twist. A rowboat is tossed by the waves, in it sit two young people. One made of evil and night and all the world’s darkness, the other, of pure good and light and day. They both held on to each other, for nothing else to hold, love, cherish, or protect than the other. They were united by love, but the love so was forbidden that it was deemed impossible. The boy of the light and the girl of dark, as they were called, clinging to each other and daring not let go, floated in terrified silence. A massive wave washed over the boat, upturning it. The boy of light and girl of dark were thrust from their small boat. They grasped for a hold that was invisible. The girl of dark sank down under the surface, weighed down by sins. The boy dove down and brought her up to the surface. He kissed her, transferring part of his light to her, keeping them afloat, then began trying to shake her awake, and yelling her name:

"Emma? Emma...Emma, come back to me. Please Emma. Wake Up! EMMA!!!!!!!"
